The Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese helped to prepare children from the city of Tayabas for school

On the eve of the new school year, the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese provided charitable assistance to families in Tayabas City (Quezon Province in the Philippines) who are getting ready their children for school.
According to the diocesan website, kits with school supplies were purchased for this purpose. Employees of the Department of Charity and Social Service of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese together with volunteers of the FMI Family Foundation distributed the sets to the children.
The FMI (Family Missions International) Foundation is run by Priest David Grubbs, rector of Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Tagaytay and head of the social department. As previously reported, the organisation is engaged, in particular, in programmes of charitable feeding of children, and supplying them with vitamins. This work was carried out, among other things, during the pandemic.
