DECR Chairman meets with Holy See Secretary for Relations with States

On June 15, with a blessing of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations, began a working visit to Rome.

On the same day, Metropolitan Anthony met in the Vatican with the Holy See Secretary for Relations with States, Archbishop Paul Gallagher. They discussed a number of issues concerning the agenda of relationships between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church.

In conclusion of the talks they exchanged tokens of the meeting.
