On Pentecost, a representative of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission took part in a service in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre

On June 4, day of the Holy Pentecost, solemn divine services were celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Jerusalem. The Divine Liturgy and then Vespers with kneeling prayers were presided over by His Beatitude Theophilus III, Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine. His Beatitude was joined by the hierarchs of the Orthodox Church of Jerusalem, as well as by pilgrims in holy orders fr om Serbia, Romania and Russia.
The service was attended by the secretary of the Russian Ecclesiastical mission in Jerusalem, hegumen Nikon (Golovko), reports the website of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem.
At the end of the service, the clergy and numerous worshipers went in procession to the Jerusalem Patriarchate, wh ere a festive reception was held.
On June 3rd, the eve of the feast of the Holy Trinity, an all-night vigil was celebrated at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem. The service was presided over by the Dean of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission, Archimandrite Alexander (Elisov), who was assisted by clergy of the Mission, Hegumen Nikon (Golovko), Hieromonk Dometian (Markarian) and Deacon Makary Petukhov. On June 4th, the Divine Liturgy was served at the Trinity Cathedral, the patronal feast of which was celebrated on that day. After Vespers, during which kneeling prayers were recited, a festive procession with numerous worshipers took place around the church. Archimandrite Alexander (Elisov) then congratulated the participants of the celebration.
