Prayer books published in Malagasy language

The Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa carries on work to translate religious literature into African languages.
Among the recent publications is an Orthodox prayer book in Malagasy language (Madagascar) translated by Rev. Makarios Ratojonantenaina, a cleric of the Exarchate.
Published earlier were prayer books in Tiv (Nigeria), Kirundi (Burundi) and Swahili languages.
Priests Makarios Ratojonantenaina and Alexey Herizo who were ordained in April 2023 and received liturgical training in Moscow have already returned to Madagascar. From Russia, they brought prayer books, icons and crosses to be distributed among parishioners.
