The parishioners of the Cathedral, spiritual children and admirers of his legacy came to honor the memory of Metropolitan Anthony, many of whom had been personally acquainted with the ever-memorable Vladyka Anthony for many years.
At the end of the panikhida, Vladyka Matthew addressed the audience with a word, noting the archpastoral labors of the founding father of the Diocese of Sourozh in strengthening Russian Orthodoxy in the British Isles and the great contribution of Metropolitan Anthony to the work of preaching the Gospel around the world.
At the end, the Archpastor laid a bouquet of flowers on the grave of Metropolitan Anthony.
