DECR vice-chairman meets with Metropolitan Silouan of Mount Lebanon

On June 8, 2021, Archbishop Leonid of Vladikavkaz and Alania, vice-chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, met with Metropolitan Silouan of Mount Lebanon, a hierarch of the Patriarchate of Antioch, at his residence in Brummana, Lebanon.

In the course of their fraternal meeting, they discussed a wide range of issues concerning inter-Orthodox dialogue, cooperation and joint efforts of the Church of Antioch and the Russian Orthodox Church.

Metropolitan Silouan told his guest about today’s life of the Metropolis of the Mount of Lebanon, the largest diocese of the Orthodox Church of Antioch according to the number of clergy and laity within its canonical territory.
