HIS BEATITUDE TIKHON
ARCHBISHOP OF WASHINGTON

Your Beatitude
Beloved in the Lord Brother and Concelebrant at God’s Altar:
Please accept my condolences over the untimely death of Archimandrite Alexander (Pihach), a devout servant at God’s Altar and good worker of Christ, who has made his contribution to the development of relations between our Holy Churches.
The late cleric fulfilled with honour the important task as representative of the Orthodox Church in America to the Moscow Patriarchate and rector of the church of the Holy Protomartyr Catherine-Next-to-the-Field.
I pray to all-merciful God for the repose of the soul of His deceased servant in the mansions of the righteous.
Eternal memory be to him!
With brotherly love in the Lord,
+ KIRILL
