XXIV. On the changes in the present Statute

1. The present Statute shall be binding for the whole Russian Orthodox Church.

2. Since the moment of the adoption of the present Statute, the Statute on the Governance of the Russian Orthodox Church adopted by the Local Council on June 8, 1988 (with alterations introduced by the Bishops’ Councils of 1990 and 1994) shall become null and void.

3. The right of amending the present Statute shall belong to the Bishops’ Council.
