A rally was held in Moscow to mark the 25th anniversary of the bombing of Yugoslavia

On the 20th of March 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Moscow hosted an rally "We Can Forgive - We Will Never Forget", timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the 1999 NATO bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
Senators and deputies of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and public figures were invited to the event at the Serbian diplomatic mission. The Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate was represented at the meeting by Archpriest Sergiy Zvonaryov, Secretary for the far abroad, and A.Y. Khoshev, an employee of the Secretariat for Inter-Orthodox Relations.
The participants of the commemorative event were addressed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia to Russia Momčilo Babić, Chairman of the Nikola Tesla Serbian Union Lena Milojević, Professor of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics of the Higher School of Economics E.G. Entina and renowned Serbian lawyer Goran Petronijević, who presented his book "NATO in the Court of History".
The participants in the meeting took part in the unveiling of a memorial plaque dedicated to the victims of NATO aggression.
