Handover of work responsibilities at the Department for External Church Relations

On June 20, 2022, with a blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, the handover of work responsibilities took place at the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate.

In accordance with an established procedure, new DECR chairman Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk accepted the documents dealing with statuary, financial and administrative-economic aspects of the synodal department’s work.

After the transfer, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk had a personal conversation with Metropolitan Hilarion of Budapest and Hungary.
