Video conference held by members of the Commission for Dialogue between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Coptic Orthodox Church

On June 6, 2022, a video conference was held by members of the Commission for Dialogue between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Coptic Church.
Participating in it from the Moscow Patriarchate were Bishop Gennady of Kaskelen, co-chairman of the Commission; Hieromonk Stephen (Igumnov), DECR Secretary for inter-Christian relations, and Hierodeacon Petr (Akhmatkhanov), a DECR staff member. From the Coptic Church there were Metropolitan Serapion of Los-Angeles, co-chairman of the Commission; Bishop Cyril, vicar of the Diocese of Los-Angeles and rector of the Ss Athanasius and Cyril of Alexandria Theological Seminary, and Ms. B. Soliman, personal secretary to His Holiness Patriarch Tawadros II of the Coptic Church.
They discussed issues concerning the Commission’s work in bilateral cooperation.
