Details about attack against priest in the city of Stryi in Lvov region become known

DECR Communication Service, 26.05.22.
The Diocese of Chernovtsy and Bukovina published on its Facebook page several photos made in the city of Stryi, Lvov region, where Ukrainian nationalists splashed brilliant green paint in the face of archpriest Vladimir Mandziuk who celebrated Divine Liturgy. The photographs show the assault against the priest and his car and house covered with such colour drawings as “Death to the occupants” and “Moscow priest, get out of here,” the Union of Orthodox Journalists reports.
“We thank you, Saints Cyril and Methodius, who have lovingly illumined our nation with reading and writing, thus giving us an opportunity to read the word of God so that while reading the Gospel we could understand the difference between sin and grace and know the way to the Heavenly Kingdom,” we read on the diocesan page.
Zaxid.net website reports that the police came to the crime scene, yet the rector refused to file a complaint, saying he had no claims to anybody.
In their comments to the publication, the readers called archpriest Vladimir a confessor and martyr for Christ and demanded to put an end to lawless actions against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
