Metropolitan Hilarion meets with ambassador of Cyprus to Russia

On 11th April 2022 the chairman of the Department of External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate the metropolitan of Volokolamsk Hilarion met with the ambassador of Cyprus to Russia Andreas Zinonos.
Participating in the meeting at the DECR building were embassy advisor Antonis Sammoutis and for the Department of External Church Relations secretary for inter-Christian affairs hieromonk Stephan (Igumnov).
Metropolitan Hilarion greeted his guest and in particular spoke about the international aspects of the department which he heads (the oldest Synodal department of the Russian Orthodox Church). During the conversation both sides discussed issues of mutual interest.
