Discussed was the inner decoration of the Cathedral of St. Sava in Belgrade as Russia and the Russian Orthodox Church are taking part in the work for its adornment, as well as other matters of mutual interest.
During Bright Week, humanitarian aid and gifts came from Russia to people in Maharda, one of the largest Christian cities in Syria and the native city of His Beatitude Patriarch Ignatius IV of Antioch. There are some 23 thousand people living in the city, predominantly Orthodox believers.

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent his condolences to the King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden over the terror attack in Stockholm. A truck smashed through the crowd on the Drottninggatan street. Four people were killed, ten injured and taken to hospital.
