Metropolitan Hilarion presented certificates of the Metropolia of Tatarstan’s grants to winners of the youth social contest ‘Love! Live! Act!’ The grants had been established to involve Orthodox youth in promoting socially significant initiatives.
At the entrance to the Church of St John of Kronstadt, Metropolitan Hilarion was met by Hegumen Yevfimiy (Moiseyev), rector of the Theological school.
They discussed the relationship between the Muslim and Orthodox communities in Tatarstan and noted the unique experience of cooperation between them, as well as the high level of inter-ethnic relations.
Metropolitan Hilarion spoke on the topic “Faith as Shaping Power and Basis of Civilizational Stability of the State”.
