Your Beatitude, beloved brother in the Lord and concelebrant at God’s Altar:
I wholeheartedly greet you with the fifteenth anniversary of your election as Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa.
Our Lord Jesus Christ by his good providence revealed in the agreed will of your brothers archpastors has paced you on the see of St. Mark, Apostle and Evangelist, so that you continue the labours of your predecessors and proclaimed the truth of Christ ‘as a testimony to all the nations’ (Mt 24:14) throughout the African continent.
Standing at the helm of the Holy Church of Alexandria you give its bishops, cleric and flock an example of zealous ministry to God, admonishing them to remain faithful to Holy Orthodoxy and the holy canons.
On the remarkable day I offer prayers to the All-Bountiful God to grant You Beatitude peace, spiritual and physical strength and abundant help in Your primatial ministry.
