Primate of the Orthodox Church in America arrives in Moscow
On 1 December 2017, at the invitation of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon of All America and Canada arrived in Moscow to take part in the celebrations marking the centenary of the restoration of Patriarchate in the Russian Orthodox Church.
The high guest was met at the airport by Metropolitan Pavel of Khanty-Mansiysk and Surgut; Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA; Archpriest Igor Yakimchuk, secretary for inter-Orthodox relations of the Department for External Church Relations; and Mr. Dmitry Petrovsky, DECR staff member.
The delegation accompanying the Primate of the Orthodox Church in America includes Bishop Daniel of Santa Rosa, Archpriest Daniel Andrejuk, Archdeacon Joseph Matusiak, Mrs. Melanie Ringa, Treasurer of the Orthodox Church in America, and Subdeacon Roman Ostash.
