Bishop Yelisey of Surozh visits the Moscow Patriarchate community in Swindon
Bishop Yelisey of Surozh made on 25 October 2009 a pastoral visit to the Eucharistic Community of Ss Peter and Paul in Swindon, Great Britain.
According to the website of the Surozh diocese, His Grace Yelisey celebrated the Divine Liturgy. Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, who has been rector of the Russian Orthodox community in Swindon for many years, concelebrated.
In the end of the service, the bishop addressed the congregation with a homily. He made a special mentioned of the efforts of Father Maxim and wished the community spiritual growth and prosperity. After the service, he shared a common meal arranged by the parishioners.
