Primate of Orthodox Church of Antioch receives representative of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia in Damascus

On August 15, 2011, His Beatitude Patriarch Ignatios received in audience Archimandrite Alexander (Yelisov), representative of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia to the Patriarch of Great Antioch and All the East.

Archimandrite Alexander informed the head of the Church of Antioch about the decision-making process concerning the bilateral inter-church cooperation, the website of the Representation has reported. During their meeting, which took place at the residence of Patriarchs of Antioch in Damascus, they also discussed problems involved in inter-Orthodox interaction in the region.
