Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk meets with His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev and All Ukraine

On 16 November 2010, the DECR chairman Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk met with His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev and All Ukraine at the Laura of the Caves in Kiev.

During the talk held in cordial fraternal atmosphere the hierarchs discussed topical issues of ecclesiastical life in Ukraine.

That same day the DECR chairman had working meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Ukraine M. Zurabov, and with the chairman of the Ukrainian State Committee for Nationalities and Religions Yu. Bogutsky.

On November 15, Metropolitan Hilarion who tours Ukraine with the blessing of is Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, visited the Cherkassy diocese. In the evening his "St Matthew Passion" was performed at the Cherkassy Regional Philharmonic Society.
